The June Plum tree, also referred to as "Dwarf ambarella", is a popular, medium-sized, fast-growing  fruit tree that produces clusters of large, oval-shaped plum-flavored fruit. The fruit has a taste to it similar to apple and a light flavor combination of pineapple and mango. June Plum is native to Polynesia and thrives in warm weather with cool (but not freezing cold) winter temperatures. June plum has a good source of Vitamin A, C, and K which are good natural antioxidants. Antioxidants reduce or neutralize free radicals that may damage the eye lens which leads to vision loss, arthritis (inflammation of the joints), damage to nerve cells in the brain, activate cancer cells, and more. You will get fruit with only one plant. However, adding an additional June Plum Tree will substantially increase your yield. *Can be grown on patio in a container and brought in during very cold* (USDA Zones 8-11)
