The Big Jim Loquat tree is a grafted fruit tree that doesn't get very large in overall size, but happens to be considered the largest among other loquat trees based on size of the fruit. The Big Jim Loquat tree originated in Southern California and was selected by Jim Neitzel for its large and delicious fruits. Expect for the Big Jim Loquat trees fruit to ripen around the early part of June. This self fertile specimen is also known for being unbothered by pests and diseases. (USDA Zones 8-10b)
